Spending years of time in the earphone business taught us a tough fact: from concept with exceptional design to production-ready stands a wall of sacrifice lists for higher efficiency and yield rate. By the time customers got their hands on the actual product, what they see would become a bland, mediocre product lacking beauty or basic user experience.

 

YOBYBO wasn’t born to be this  way. Our goal is to give birth to a design that follows our hearts from the very beginning. Instead of simplifying the process for the industry, we chose to keep the precious creative design as it intended to be, no matter how much harder it would be to build. The product we built is the mirror of our vision.The higher our guidelines would be, the more procedures we had to go through. We set up more product inspections for a more reliable industrial renovation to make sure our products meet the global standard for a good one. If we had to choose between the cost and quality, we would definitely go to the latter one.

 

We were the creators of the world’s thinnest TWS earphones---CARD20, which won the Reddot and iF design award of 2020. Our push-to-unlock NOTE20 won the Reddot design award as well.Also XBOAT Won the IF/Good design award 2022. We reviewed our entire streamline of the production of these two products: from concept to engineering, development, till the final manufacturing. All the problems were put under the telescope for improvements of our next-gen product.
